Prednisone is chemically 17,21-Dihydroxypregna-1,4-diene-3,11,20-trione (as per EP and USP). It is also known as Δ-Cortisone ; Prednidone ; Apo-Prednisone ; Ancortone. Prednisone is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline. Prednisone can be used for the analytical method development, method validation (AMV), Quality Controlled (QC) application for Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) or during commercial production of Prednisone.
