Fluvoxamine EP Impurity B is chemically 2-[[[(1Z)-5-Methoxy-1-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]pentylidene]amino]oxy]ethanamine (as per EP); (Z)-5-Methoxy-1-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]pentan-1-one O-(2-aminoethyl)oxime (as per USP). It is also known as Fluvoxamine Z-Isomer (USP). Fluvoxamine EP Impurity B is supplied with detailed characterization data compliant with regulatory guideline.
